Rikin J. Patel, DO is a physician with over 14 years of experience in interventional pain management, specializing in sports medicine and longevity care for the aging athlete. He is the physician owner of Regevity Health, a practice focused on sports and spine regenerative medicine and longevity. He is also a staff physician at Regional Neurological Associates. 

Dr. Patel is an expert in orthobiologic procedures, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP), bone marrow aspirate concentrate (BMAC), adipose tissue, as well as shockwave therapy and extracorporeal magnetic transduction therapy (EMTT) for pain and inflammation.

Dr. Patel has extensive experience in various interventional pain management techniques, including epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, radiofrequency ablation, neuromodulation, and peripheral joint injections and tenotomy. He has performed over 10,000 procedures throughout his career.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Patel is involved in various leadership roles and educational initiatives. He is a board member of The Orthobiologic Institute (TOBI), which is an annual symposium and digital platform for education, training, and mentorship of orthobiologic practitioners from around the world. He is also a co-founder of TOBI Networks, a digital education platform in the field of orthobiologics.

Dr. Patel completed his medical education at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he was a member of the Phi Sigma Epsilon National Osteopathic Honor Society and served as a student ambassador and teaching assistant for gross anatomy. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors thesis in Nutritional Science from Cornell University, where he was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-Medical Honor Society and achieved Dean’s List honors. He completed his post-graduate training in various institutions, including Orthopaedic & Spine Specialists in York, PA, Mount Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, NYU Medical Center, Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation, St. Clare’s Medical Center, and St. Vincent’s Hospital.

Dr. Patel has been involved in research projects and has published articles in peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Clinical Orthopedics & Trauma, Pain Medicine, and PM&R Journal. He has also presented at conferences, including the Annual NASS meeting and NYSIPP Annual Conference.
